Scholarships

Aspire Program
As a large employer, we have the ability to make a positive and lasting impression on local high school students. The Aspire Program provides meaningful interaction, challenging work opportunities and a thought provoking exchange of ideas. Through their accomplishments, Aspire Students gain a sense of pride, and benefit from a solid mentor who encourages their interest in higher education and business.

Merix Scholarships
Merix Corporation is actively engaged in sponsoring higher education. Each year, Merix identifies and assists local students exhibiting academic promise and good citizenship. We provide annual scholarships to graduating High School Seniors from each of the local area high schools. The awards are based on merit, and provide separate scholarship programs for Merix family students and non Merix family students.

Community Involvement

‘MESA’ Program - Merix Employee Sponsored Activity
Merix employees get involved and impact the community through the MESA program. The program allows employees to request corporate financial support for local community activities and events. Merix and our employees actively participate and support non-profit efforts such as youth sports, Race for the Cure, blood drives, and a variety of local community endeavors.

Local College Partnerships

Merix cooperates with local colleges by offering career opportunities and intellectual enrichment through student internships, equipment donation and partnership programs.

Each community near Merix facilities has a unique set of civic organizations, special events and celebrations that enrich our lives.
